Resurrected and stuff

Okay... so last semester was absolutely killer... I had little to no time to spend on any extraneous activities aside from hanging out with my friends, and even that I didn't do too often because of the mounds of work I had to do. Something had to get chucked from my schedule, and unfortunately that was my art. :( However, now that I have a little bit more spare time this semester, I am going to try and post a little bit more for any of those who are watching my page. I am experimenting with some different art forms outside of my normal photo manipulation, and hopefully that will go well...

Actually, my big inspiration right now artistically speaking is Samurai Legend Musashi. While its a bit slow and not as action packed as I like my games (DMC1 and DMC3 are sort of my standards for video games), the artistic side of the game vastly compensated for any frustration/boredom I may have encountered. As of late, I have been trying to emulate the stylistic inking scheme from this game, aaaaand suffice to say that hasn't been going over well, which is why, despite this semester being a little bit easier, I haven't posted anything. Instead I have turned to an amalgamation of my previous Jhonen-Vasquezy style and the Musashi style to try something new, and I am really excited about the results. However, I still can't draw hands or facial features, which is sort of damaging the art because it is not at the level I want it to be at. Boooooo.
